Eagles drop 1-0 Contest to Middle Georgia
COCHRAN, Ga. - The 11th-ranked Eagles fell to the Warriors of Middle Georgia, 1-0 Sunday afternoon in Cochran, Ga. This is the Eagles fourth loss in the last six games. With the loss the Eagles have now dropped to 6-5-3 overall.
Middle Georgia took a 1-0 lead in the 12th minute of the first half and never looked back. "We just did not play well on our side," said Polk State Head Coach Bill Read. The Eagles had a number of opportunities to score but could never find the back of the net.
Coach Read and his team conclude the regular season on Wednesday, Oct. 26, when the Eagles welcome Brevard Community College to Lake Myrtle Sports Complex at 7 p.m.
