Stefan Nakic of Polk State College has signed a letter of intent to continue his athletic and academic career at Florida College.

A sophomore guard, Nakic has appeared in 22 games so far this season and averaged 8.4 points per game.

"Stefan has been an extremely hard worker on and off the floor while at Polk State," said Head Coach Brandon Giles.

"This scholarship offer is well-deserved, and I am happy to see his hard work in the classroom as well as on the court pay off in the end.

"He has led by example all year and also responded in times of adversity. There is no doubt in my mind he will do well at Florida College."

Nakic is from Belgrade, Serbia, and graduated from Lake Wales High School.
