Eagles basketball volunteers with Special Olympics

Polk State basketball players and coaches volunteered at the Special Olympics Florida Polk County Basketball Competition on Sunday, Dec. 6. 

The Eagles ran the game clock, kept record books, acted as spotters, and served as officials during the entire daylong competition. Eagles players also helped the athletes during the skills competition. 

The team even cancelled its afternoon practice to donate its time to the Special Olympians.
