Polk State defeated St. Petersburg College 12-3 last night at Jack Russell Stadium in Clearwater.
With the win, its third straight over St. Pete, Polk State remains in first place in the Suncoast Conference by two games.
The Eagles jumped on St. Pete pitching for four runs in the first inning. They added six runs in the third and two in the eighth.
Polk State had 12 hits, and every Eagles hitter scored at least one run in the contest.
Cole Warken had a home run, a sacrifice fly, a run scored, and four RBI.
Isaiah Cullum drove in two runs, walked twice, and scored twice.
Cody Burgess had a double, a run scored, an RBI, a sacrifice fly, two walks, and two stolen basses.
