Eagles soar past Santa Fe in slugfest

Polk State hitters had a busy day yesterday as the Eagles beat Santa Fe College 10-6 in Gainesville. 

JD Osborne came within a triple of hitting for the cycle. He singled, doubled, slammed a two-run home run, and finished with three RBI. 

Cole Ondrejka doubled and drove in two runs. 

Kyle Jackson collected two hits, including a solo home run. 

Luke Parker had two hits and two stolen bases. 

Andrew Stroud also had two hits. 

Starting pitcher Jordan Barrett worked five innings and got the win.  

The Eagles (11-6, No. 7 in the FCSAA Coaches' Poll) travel to Indian River State College on Wednesday for a 3 p.m. game.
