Eagles struggle in home opener

Playing its first home game today, Polk State lost to Pasco-Hernando State College 6-2. 

Three players accounted for all of the Eagles' offense. 

Kaylor Kulina doubled, and then Kyle Jackson followed with an RBI double. 

Luke Parker hit a solo home run. 

Maikor Mora (0-1) worked the first four innings and took the loss. 

Luis Ferrer pitched three innings, and Jose Pupo and Cody Gamble followed with an inning apiece.  

The Eagles (0-2) look for their first win of the season Tuesday when they host Eastern Florida State College at 5 p.m.
