JD Osborne's grand slam helped Polk State won its eleventh straight game tonight, beating South Florida State College 9-6 in Avon Park.

Osborne (2-for-5) drove in six runs. In his next at bat he had a chance for back-to-back grand slams but grounded out with the bases loaded.

Shane Gordon went 3-for-5 with two RBI, and Matt Piatt (2-for-3) drove in the other Eagles run. Cody DeNoyelles had a 4-for-5 night at the plate.

Winning pitcher Hunter Kyzar yielded just one hit and no runs over seven innings. The victory moves him to 9-0 for the season and into a tie for the national lead in wins.
