Caseys Take Care of Business in 5-2 Win

The name Casey proved to be a winning moniker Tuesday as the Eagles topped Indian River State College 5-2 in Winter Haven.

Sophomore lefty Casey Kulina (Penn.) earned the victory, giving up one run over four innings.

Sophomore Casey Schroeder (Ohio) socked a three-run triple for the Eagles in the contest.

Eagle sophomore Jose Serrano (Haines City) hurled a clean ninth inning to earn his first save of the season.

Sophomore Cody DeNoyelles (West Orange) and sophomore Sam Machonis (Sickles) each rapped doubles for Polk.

Righty EJ Cordero (Cypress Creek) surrendered just one hit over three innings of relief. He gave up one walk and fanned three.
