Eagles Defeat St. Thomas, 15-3

WINTER HAVEN - Two nights of Baseball. Two wins for the Eagles. After defeating St. Johns last night, the Eagles came up big with a 15-3 win over St. Thomas tonight. 

Brett Jones was the winning pitcher for the Eagles.

Offensively for Polk, Conor Szczerba went 3-for-5 with a homer, triple and three RBIs. Matt Singletary was 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs; Kyle Chastain went 2-5 with two triples and Drew Reeves was 2-3 with a double.

In his first collegiate at-bat, Alec Asher picked up his first hit of the season to ignite a five run inning in the bottom of the eighth for the Eagles.

The Eagles are now 19-4 on the season.

After enjoying an two game homestand, the Eagles will hit the road on Saturday to take on St. Johns. First pitch between the Eagles and Vikings is scheduled for 2 p.m.
